About The Host
Donna Dewberry is a wife, mother of seven, grandmother and native Floridian. Dewberry loves anything to do with painting, crafting and decorating and has been involved in decorating and redecorating her home (and often someone else’s too) for all of her married life – over 25 years. She loves making her home a place her family can be proud of. Even though usually on a very limited budget, she always used her painting ability and creativity to bring beauty and comfort to her home.
After many evenings of painting at her dining room table, she developed a technique for stress-free painting that became the basis for the One-Stroke technique and her series of One-Stroke painting books. Donna is a teacher and author of North Light and Plaid books. Donna Dewberry can be seen on the PBS and QVC television networks teaching her One-Stroke technique to hundreds of thousands of viewers.
Donna Dewberry’s One-Stroke painting workshop certification classes are taught all over the country. Also offered is a Two-Day Wall Seminar class for those who are interested in painting walls using the One-Stroke technique. And she also offers classes for those who want to become certified as a Home Decor Specialist or Wall and Furniture Specialist.
Donna Dewberry has kept the vision of the important basic things needed for a happy and successful life – her family, her religion, and her painting. It’s true in painting, as well, that there are some very important basic techniques that every painter needs to know for success. Once you learn and practice the basics of the “One-Stroke” technique, you will be able to paint any design in her books.
